Backflow prevention devices are used to protect water supplies from contamination or pollution due to backflow. Most municipal codes will require the installation of a backflow prevention device at each cross-connection point found within plumbing systems of homes and businesses.

Backflow devices MUST be inspected annually in order to keep your property in compliance with the local water department. If not tested annually, your property’s water can be shut off by your municipalities’ water department.
